If a Greek retailer told you Svuum is delivering your order and you have never heard of the company, that is normal. Most people do not choose Svuum. The shop does.

Svuum is an Athens based courier founded in 2020 and built specifically for e-commerce last mile delivery. It handles deliveries for large Greek retailers including IKEA, Kotsovolos, Intersport and Leroy Merlin, along with supermarket chains such as Kritikos and Xalkiadakis.

Its standard service is same day or next day delivery, Monday through Saturday. There is no Sunday operation, so an order placed late on Friday will typically move on Monday.

The company also runs a separate XL unit launched in 2023 for large home deliveries. That side handles appliances and bulky goods, and can include taking your old appliance away for recycling and completing installation in the same visit.

Your number comes from the retailer, not from Svuum. Check the shipping confirmation from the shop you ordered from. Greek e-shops commonly send it by SMS as well as email, since Svuum integrates with retailer platforms that trigger an SMS when the voucher is created.

What to expect once tracking is live:
- Svuum delivers by appointment or time slot rather than arriving unannounced. You should be contacted before the delivery attempt.
- Drivers photograph the parcel at the point of delivery as proof. If there is any dispute about whether something arrived, that record exists.
- Recipients can usually communicate with the driver during the delivery window.

Svuum tracking numbers are generated when the retailer creates the shipping voucher, which is why the reference reaches you from the shop rather than from Svuum directly.

If your number returns nothing yet, the likely reason is that the voucher has been created but the parcel has not been collected and scanned. This is common when a retailer prints labels in a batch ahead of pickup.

Check that you are using the Svuum tracking code and not the shop's order number. Greek e-shop confirmations frequently show both.

Svuum is built around speed within Greece rather than long distance transit.

Standard parcels move on same day or next day service, Monday to Saturday, with Athens and the main urban areas best covered.

For XL deliveries, expect a different rhythm:
- Appliance and bulky item deliveries are scheduled rather than attempted at random.
- If your order includes removal of an old appliance or installation, the visit is booked for a window long enough to complete it.
- These slots are finite, so the gap between dispatch and delivery can be longer than a standard parcel even though the item has been ready for days.

If tracking has not moved:
- Overnight and weekend gaps are normal, and nothing runs on Sunday.
- If you have not been contacted to arrange a slot for a large item, the retailer is the fastest route, since they hold the account.

Svuum operates as a domestic Greek courier. It is not an international carrier, so it will not be the company that brings a parcel into Greece from abroad.

If you ordered from an overseas seller, another carrier or postal operator handles the international leg and customs clearance. Svuum may then appear at the end of the chain if a Greek retailer or fulfilment partner passes the final delivery to it.

In that case your Svuum tracking number only covers the Greek portion of the journey. The earlier stages sit under whatever reference the original carrier issued, and you would need that number to see the overseas part.
